We provide a structured pathway of rehabilitation and care to enable clients to fulfil and maintain their maximum potential within the community.

Mildmay has been at the forefront of HIV & AIDS care, treatment and rehabilitation since 1988, continually adapting and responding to meet new, often complex, and rapidly changing needs.

For healthcare professionals:

For patients:

Our multi-disciplinary approach means that the majority of our patients return to independent living on discharge from Mildmay

Mildmay Mission Hospital has 26 inpatient rooms, across two wards.

All rooms at Mildmay Hospital are single-occupancy and ensuite, located in two modern, purpose-built wards.

Our two wards are William Ward and Catherine Ward – named after our founders William and Catherine Pennefather.

Each ward has a kitchen unit, ward office, treatment room, level access assisted bathroom, and a comfortable day room for the use of patients and their visitors to the ward.

The hospital also houses our Day Therapy facilities on the ground floor, as well as a small chapel, laundry room, kitchens, dining room, small courtyard garden and a large physio multi-gym.

From time to time, we need to purchase or replace important equipment that helps with the care, rehabilitation, and recovery of our patients.

As you can imagine, our medical and patient-care equipment gets a lot of use - more so now than before because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused our patient numbers to increase significantly.
