We are thrilled to welcome a new volunteer to the Mildmay family! Their journey to us is an exciting example of how the visibility from our partnership with Transport for London is already making a real difference.
Helia first spotted the newly named Mildmay line signage on the London Overground at Stratford Station. That moment of recognition led her to learn more about our work, inspiring her to get involved. Feeling motivated by what she discovered, Helia reached out to offer her time and support as a volunteer at Mildmay.
Her story demonstrates how the renaming of the London Overground line is already helping us connect with people who share our passion for supporting those living with HIV or homelessness, and our mission of providing life-changing care.
We are excited to have Helia on board and look forward to the energy and dedication she will bring to our team!
A big thank you to Transport for London for helping raise awareness of our work by naming the Mildmay line after our hospital. This kind of visibility is invaluable, and Helia’s story is a perfect example of its impact, helping us connect with London’s diverse communities and reinforcing our role in delivering care that changes lives. The Mildmay line will carry our name through the city, keeping the conversation alive about the ongoing challenges of HIV, homelessness, and complex health conditions, while also reminding Londoners of the essential support we continue to provide.
Welcome to the team, Helia!
