We are honoured and delighted to announce that George Michael Entertainment (GME) has made a substantial pledge to fund a Junior Doctor post at Mildmay Hospital for the next three years.
This generous support will enhance our ability to provide specialised care for people living with HIV, as well as those recovering from homelessness and addiction.
George Michael’s commitment to helping others was as remarkable as his music. Throughout his life, he supported numerous causes with immense generosity, often doing so quietly and without seeking recognition. His support of HIV charities and many other initiatives made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals. GME, in association with George Michael’s family, continues to honour that spirit through ongoing donations and contributions to charitable causes.
This support comes at a time when financial pressures have increased right across the NHS and healthcare sector generally. This donation will greatly help Mildmay Hospital in providing our essential services to some of the most vulnerable people in society and will have a lasting impact on the lives of those we care for.
