Taking place on Friday, June 7th, this special evening promises a celebration of LGBTQ+ London, Londoners and transport workers.
Mildmay's Legacy of Care
The Mildmay line, from Stratford to Clapham Junction and Richmond is named after our very own Mildmay Hospital, a testament to our 160-year legacy of serving Londoners.
It's part of TfL's strategy to name the six lines of the London Overground to celebrate London’s many historic locations and forgotten stories and facilitate easier navigation around the network - which will be officially launched in September 2024. We're proud of this symbol of our commitment to the city's well-being.

Pioneering HIV/AIDS Care: A Chapter in Mildmay's History
Mildmay holds a special place in the history of HIV/AIDS treatment. During the 1980s and 90s, we were at the forefront of providing pioneering care, championed by Diana, Princess of Wales. We're proud of this chapter in our story, and we continue to offer comprehensive support to those living with HIV today.
The London Transport Museum's Museum Late: Pride on the Move promises an evening filled with exploration, entertainment, and community spirit. Expect a range of exciting activities, including:
Talks and exhibitions exploring LGBTQ+ history in transport

We had a fantastic night at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden!
Our team had great fun representing Mildmay at the museum's late event, Pride on the Move, last Friday. We raised awareness about our charity, got some generous donations and enjoyed exploring the museum after-hours.
Huge thanks to everyone involved at the museum and at TfL for making it such a memorable night!
