Payroll giving is an easy and efficient way of donating to Mildmay and transforming peoples lives living with HIV.
Donations made through payroll giving are taken from your salary before tax, and the tax man pays the difference, which means that it is a tax efficient way to give on a regular basis.
This is how it works:
Your pledge to Mildmay Actual cost to you (standard rate tax payer at 20% Actual cost to you (higher rate tax payer at 40%)
£5 £4 £3
£7.50 £6 £4.50
£10 £8 £6
£20 £16 £12
Giving to Mildmay through payroll giving means that we know in advance how much and how often you will donate, which gives us the stability we need to plan our services and transform peoples lives.

Mildmay is a pioneering HIV charity delivering quality care and treatment, prevention work, rehabilitation, training and education, and health strengthening in the UK and East Africa. Mildmay’s hospital in the UK is Europe’s only centre dedicated to rehabilitation for people with HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorder (HAND). As HIV rates rise in the UK, our services are needed now more than ever. Our programmes in East Africa support over 90,000 people living with HIV. Mildmay’s work in this region also encompasses a multiplicity of other health interventions, including STI treatment, cervical cancer screening, TB screening, condom distribution and family planning services.
Your payroll gift could make a real difference to the lives of people living with HIV:
£5 could provide a child in Kenya with rubber soled shoes to prevent a jigger infestation.
£7.50 could provide materials for art therapy.
£10 could provide specialised cutlery to help a patient to eat independently.
£12.50 could provide one garden therapy session for a patient at Mildmay UK.
£20 could provide a hand exercise wheel for patient rehabilitation.
£50 could provide instruments for music therapy.
Thank you for helping us to continue this vital work!
