Hospital Equipment Fund
Help Mildmay Hospital care for those in need!
Raising funds to purchase medical and therapeutic equipment and maintain the physical environment of Mildmay Hospital.
Mildmay is dedicated to creating a better physical and therapeutic environment for our patients, staff, and visitors at our UK hospital.
Thanks to your generous donations, our charity is able to fund projects which, each year, touch the lives of the hundreds of people cared for by our UK hospital.
We regularly need to purchase or replace important equipment that helps with the care, rehabilitation, and recovery of our patients - including medical supplies, gym and therapy equipment, as well as furniture and appliances for patient rooms.
In a hospital with vulnerable and sometimes challenging patient groups, our equipment gets a lot of use and items need to be replaced regularly through wear and tear and occasional misuse.
On top of this, the fabric of the building undergoes regular rounds of repainting and repairing of patient rooms, wards, corridors, kitchens, common areas, our garden and Reception. It is so important to keep the hospital looking and working at its best, for the wellbeing of our patients and infection prevention and control.
Examples of the various types of equipment supported by this fund:
Clinical Fridges
From £600
Mildmay Hospital urgently needs to replace one of its clinical fridges, a crucial piece of equipment for storing temperature-sensitive medications safely. While we are replacing one fridge now, all of our fridges are aging and will need replacement in the near future, at a significant cost.
Digital Skills Inclusion Suite
FULLY FUNDED
Thanks to a generous donation from Wandsworth Oasis, Mildmay Mission Hospital was able set up a new Digital skills Inclusion Suite.
Mildmay is a CHARITY providing specialist services solely to the NHS, not an NHS or private hospital.
Running any hospital is hugely expensive. We get about 80% of our funding from NHS contracts. As a charity, we depend on your help to raise the remaining 20%. We don't make a profit and all your donations are invested in our services and facilities.
