Christmas Carol Service for 2020
Please support our Christmas Appeal by donating what you can below
We are so grateful to all the contributors to this virtual Christmas Service; those who sang and those who spoke, all of our lovely friends and volunteers, our Chair and our Chief Executive, our wonderful staff - including the Kenya team, and all of those who contributed to the production.
Special thanks to Will Warrilow for putting it all together, and to St Mary’s Church Chipping Norton and Christ Church Barnet for their invaluable contributions.

We need your help to bring our patients a little Christmas cheer
Every year, Mildmay hospital has many patients who are unable to go home for Christmas. This year, not only are we caring for vulnerable patients with HIV, but also people who are homeless or rough sleeping - some are also recovering from COVID-19.
In fact, the hospital is currently at full capacity and likely to stay that way, as we have a waiting list of patients to be discharged to us from NHS acute hospitals as soon as one of our 26 beds becomes available.
Many of our patients have few social connections, and Christmas can be a very difficult, lonely and isolating time for them.
This year will be much worse because COVID regulations have severely restricted the number of visitors we can allow into the hospital.
Help us to bring comfort to those who are in hospital feeling lonely and isolated this Christmas
To bring a little light into the lives of our patients this Christmas, we would like to give them Christmas presents; modest gifts and treats like toiletries or nice things to eat.
Any patients who are discharged between Christmas and New Year, live alone or in a hostel, and have no family nearby, will be given a small hamper to take with them.
We need your help to do this and so we once again call upon the generosity of our friends and supporters and ask you to make a donation to our Christmas Appeal.
How you can help:
Text to donate or make an online donation*
Please make a donation and mark it for our Christmas Fund. This is ideal, as our social workers, Beverley and Isobel, know our patients well and can determine what is needed most and go out and buy it. In this way, everybody will get a little something nice that is also meaningful.
Donate online by going to our 'Presents for Patients' donation page*
